Between 1971 to 2002 Bangladesh was viewed as one of the least developed countries in the world. However, over the past few years the United Nations Development Programme, Asian Development Bank and the World Bank have recognised Bangladesh as a successfully developing nation. The industrial and textile sectors have seen substantial growth, export levels are on the rise, there has been significant increases in Foreign Direct investment, and the telecommunication and IT infrastructure have been developed. Real estate expansion is also a strong market and both the education and healthcare sectors have undergone substantial changes. The transport structures have improved vastly but still remain significantly behind the rest of the world. Major roads, rail and air links have been neglected to the overall detriment of the country. Furthermore the existing aviation companies have become complacent as customers have very few alternatives. Air travellers to and from Bangladesh as well as domestic passengers; have to undergo unnecessary stress and difficulties in reaching their destinations, we will be creating helicopter and sea plane services which will access the remotest areas of Bangladesh. No area of Bangladesh will remain untouched. A strong transport infrastructure is crucial to the development of any nation and in recognition of this RBA will capitalise on the lack of transport development and further promote the growth of the Bangladeshi economy. Our team of experts are negotiating with the hotel and tourism board to develop the tourism industries.
