Since its inception in 1977, Project Builders Limited (PBL) has grown steadily and has developed itself as one of the leading contractors in civil engineering and construction fields in Bangladesh with high quality services.

In recent years, PBL has been successfully involved in a number of major civil engineering projects in Bangladesh, including the 14-storied residential building at Dhaka Cantonment, Singapore Market of Chittagong City Corporation, NAM apartment building at Nakhalpara, and the Head Office Building of Sugar Corporation at Motijheel.
PBL is proud of its involvement in a number of major projects in the country, including the construction of KAFCO Housing Colony in Chittagong, Bangabandhu Mausoleum at Tungipara, the National Theatre Complex, and the Country Office of the World Bank at Agargaon, Dhaka. The successful completion of the National Theatre Complex represents a landmark in modern day construction in the country. The successful association of PBL with Joint Venture Engineers Ltd. in the construction of the World Bank Country Office, the most modern of its kind in the country, represents the Company’s continued successful endeavor in undertaking joint venture projects with national and international partners.
PBL is actively involved in the construction of country’s road communication infrastructure. Major road projects of PBL include the 11 km Kotalipara-Kandi highway and the 57 km Sylhet-Moulavibazar-Sherpur highway. Besides, PBL has been involved in a number of Periodical Maintenance Projects (PMP) of the R&H Department. PBL has also successfully completed construction of the Haridaspur Bridge and the Tongi bypass bridge.
Over the years, PBL has developed a number of sister organizations which include, among others, the City Axis Limited, the Metal Private Limited, Canopus Limited,Mohana Syndicate and PBL Solar.
