Old Age Home Subarta

We are a small group of professionals led by Ms. Salina Akther, a successful entrepreneur who won the 2001 Daily Star-DHL outstanding woman in business award. She has set up Subarta’s residential care facility to provide assisted living arrangements, food, recreation and geriatric services without any discrimination toward the elderly, whether it is gender, ethnicity or religion. Subarta Trust is a non-profit and non-partisan civil organization devoted to the well being of senior citizens of the country, especially those who are mentally and physically disabled, and particularly elderly women in need of protection; these people can be regarded as the most vulnerable among distressed groups. Currently the Trust is running residential care centres or homes in Dhaka, Savar and Netrakona.
