Desktop Computer Connection Ltd. (Desktop) was established in 1991 and within few years time the company emerged as a leading Systems Integrator to provide total IT solutions specially to the corporate clients. In 1992 Desktop was appointed as the Authorized Dealer of world’s number One PC Brand Compaq and since then Compaq is established as the Premium PC brand in Bangladesh. Beside Compaq, Desktop gradually became the direct Business Partner of world leading IT companies like HP, APC, 3Com, Cisco, Microsoft, Scala, Infocus, Data products, IBM etc.

From the very beginning Desktop’s business focus was to provide complete Networking solutions instead of retail box selling approach. As such the corporate segment became the major client base for Desktop and accordingly the company developed its expertise and skill sets in LAN/WAN area. Desktop has successfully implemented many projects in Govt. sector under LAN/WAN environment including Bangladesh Air Force, Ministry of Food, Department of Fisheries (World Bank Project), Power Development Board (PDB) etc. All these projects are on turn-key basis including supply and installation of Computer Hardware, Networking and Training. In the Banking sector Desktop has also strong presence and the major clients are Janata Bank, Sonali Bank, Dutch-Bangla Bank, Premier Bank, IDLC, American Express bank, Citinank NA etc. The major multinational client list includes Shell Bangladesh, Nestle Bangladesh, Glaxo, H&M, APL etc.

In Bangladesh Desktop is the first Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centre (CTEC) and Online Prometric Testing Centre for major Vendor Certification such as Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, A+, Novell, Sun Java, IBM etc. since 1997. The company has 8 nos. international standard training labs with adequate resource facilities.








Desktop’s developed integrated branch banking application software “DesktopEasy Banking” is now successfully running over 225 branches of Janata Bank Limited,Sonali Bank Limited and Bangladesh Krishi Bank the largest three nationalized bank in Bangladesh. The software is developed on the state of art Microsoft Technologies and all modern banking features are now being incorporated with the core Banking module to make it as international standard banking application software.











Desktop is also providing Broadband Internet Service facilities to its adjacent selected clients under ‘Desktop Online’ Service Wing.

Desktop’s corporate office is housed at its own 10 storied building, located at 146/2A, New Baily Road. This is a modern building of 25000 sft working space with all infrastructure facilities with adequate Parking, Lift, Standby Generator, Broadband ISP etc. There is one branch office in Chittagong to look after customer’s service & support in Chittagong region. The company has over 150 nos. employees with good professional and technical background including a good number of Computer Science Graduates including MCSEs, MCSDs, CCNAs, CCNPs, A+ etc. in Systems and Support Divisions.
