Barisal Residential Model School was converted into Barisal Cadet College on 1st July 1981. It is situated in the enchanting greenery of blissful nature about 12km north of Barisal city beside the Barisal-Dhaka highway. From the very beginning of establishment, the Cadets of Barisal Cadet College have been achieving remarkable results in the secondary and higher secondary level exams every year under the national education board.
