IFAD Autos provides buses, trucks and special vehicles to the industry. In its history, its commercial bus line satisfied enormous needs in the intra-city and inter-city bus routes. The contribution includes the record sale of 306 double decker buses to the BRTC that revolutionized public transport in the country. IFAD takes pride in supplying heavy duty trucks and covered vans responsible for the transportation of a multitude of commodities across the country. And the pride extends as IFAD Autos alone has supplied over half the total number of covered vans in the country, a majority of which supports the highest foreign exchange earner for Bangladesh: the RMG sector. IFAD also supplies special vehicles that include prime movers, dump trucks, concrete mixers, oil tankers, water tankers, and many more. A special interest of IFAD Autos Ltd. is dedicated CNG run buses which it introduced in the country in 1998. Ashok Leyland CNG buses have proven its quality, durability and fuel economy amidst ever growing oil prices all around the world. Not only does the CNG technology help conserve fuel costs, it provides the social responsibility of protecting our environment with much less hazardous emissions.
